Neglected Infectious Diseases
Infectious diseases keep emerging and re-emerging. It is therefore imperative that while efforts for control of well-established communicable disease must continue relentlessly, a regular vigil must be maintained on the behavior of emerging diseases. Since last quarter of 20th century- new and resurgent infectious diseases have been recurring again and again. A large number of people have been affected with diseases like AIDS, Avian Influenza, Cholera, Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Lyme disease etc.
